The UNC Bronchiectasis/NTM Care and Research Center focuses on improving the health and well-being of North Carolinians and others whom we serve by providing leadership and excellence in the interrelated areas of patient care, education, and research. Our talented team of pulmonary and infectious disease experts, nursing, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and nutrition provide evidence based, individualized, holistic care to bronchiectasis and NTM patients. We collaborate closely with colleagues in allergy/immunology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, thoracic surgery, palliative care, microbiology, otolaryngology, and radiology. Our clinical and other research programs advance our understanding of underlying causes and optimal management of BE and NTM.
